1970s-80s | Bloomfield Custom Kitchens

Parents sell the business, Daryl Ann graduates MSU Interior Design Program and travels to Germany to work with Poggenpahl for 5 years before returning to the States to marry.

1989-1996 | Showcase Kitchens

Daryl Ann starts her own kitchen and bath business with a small showroom located in her home in Climax Scott while raising her two children. In 1996, Julie Coles is hired and becomes a creative and reliable employee to Daryl Ann.

1997-2010 | Kalamazoo Custom Kitchens

The business goes through a name change as well as a location change in 1997, to its current location on Portage Road in Portage, Michigan.

2010-2012 | Kalamazoo Custom Kitchens & Baths

Moving forward, to better distinguish who we are, we made another small change to the business name by adding “& Baths”.

We’ve moved to a new location…facing Sprinkle Road we are on the S W corner of East Main and Sprinkle in sunny Kalamazoo. Visit us soon or during our GRAND OPENING 3 Saturdays in March, 2013.

We have a BRAND NEW LOCATION. Daryl Ann and John's dream comes true.... Kalamazoo Custom Kitchens and Baths design studio now faces the sunny side of Sprinkle Rd. with entry on East Main. We have working displays with working appliances to help demonstrate the best ways to use a kitchen with the latest in top performance cooking. We will show you good design in tile, hardware and counter tops to go along with your perfect kitchen.

Visit today or during our Grand Opening on 2 Saturdays in March. March 16th and 23rd. We still have cheeses left over from our first event, Chocolate and teas will be featured this Saturday and all things Maple Syrup on the last Saturday of March. YUMMMMMY

See the LATEST kitchen in the WINTER issue of Michigan Home and Lifestyle magazine. One of our modern Wet Bars is featured in the Grabill ad. This kitchenette was designed with a nautical theme accented in stainless steel. Note the special back lit shelving with LED color changing lights that really set the mood. Very classy! Great job Daryl Ann and Dan Vander Roest.

DARYL ANN has completed all the requirements for their CAPS (certified aging in place specialist) certification. This means I can improve accessibility for our clients wanting to stay in their homes longer as they age. I will also be able to purchase and install product related to universal design for those needing wheel chair friendly attractive spaces. Call me for more information today.

Appliance and Fixture Display Sale
Items are from Sub Zero, Wolf, Franke, Best and Elitair. We have 3-4 displays on clearance now making way for new displays. Curved kitchen in Hickory, Maple stain glazed kitchen, 2 vanities with faucets, sinks and tops and a beautiful dark cherry fireplace surround and wainscott complete with electric space heater that mimics a glowing fire. Great for use in a rec. room or lower level family area. The 3 part white vanity was donated by our clients to Habitat for Humanity. Thank you Dave and Sue.
